Our Story
Kingdom-Culture Studios is dedicated to creating, producing, and distributing Christ-Centered and Family-Friendly film, television, and media. A kingdom is a realm, a territory, a sphere of influence ruled by a king. A kingdom has citizens and ambassadors that are subject to a king, in our case, that King is a sovereign ruler, and His name is Jesus (Hebrews 7:2, Revelation 15:3, Revelation 17:4 & Revelation 19:16). The Kingdom-Culture represents the principals, and behaviors expressed throughout the inspired Holy Bible. That said, we exist to entertain, enlighten, ignite, and invite people into the Kingdom of God. At Kingdom-Culture Studios, Jesus is not only Lord and Savior, but He reigns as our sovereign King.
Our founder Mark David Kennerly and his wife Kimberly Kennerly have already started producing Christ-Centered and Family Friendly films including, Conquering Fear (a short film) and …if My People… (a feature film). Both produced by one of our strategic partners, 1922 Productions, LLC (1 Corinthians 9:22). We are seeking like-minded partners who not only desire to see and enjoy Christ-Centered and Family-Friends entertainment but are willing and able to help bring it to life. We love edgy, dramas, comedies, rom-coms, thrillers, and action-packed stories. We believe that these and other genres can be brought to the stage and screen without explicit sexual behaviors, foul language, and gratuitous violence. We serve at the pleasure of the King.

Our projects span various genres, including drama, comedy, action, superhero, thriller, animation, documentaries and gaming, offering a diverse range of options.
In addition to film and television, multimedia platforms have also embraced Christ-Centered and Family-Friendly content. Mark David & Kimberly Y. Kennerly
1922 Productions was founded in 1996 as 1921 Productions by Mark David Kennerly. The vision has always been to create and produce Christ-Centered and Family-Friendly film, television, and multimedia, including staged plays and musicals. 1921 and 1922 are based on 1 Corinthians 9:21-22 which highlights the Apostle Paul’s heart and desire to reach all people with the good news of the Kingdom of God and it’s King, Jesus Christ. We create out of the box, realistic projects that entertain, uplift, and inspire, while ushering people into the Kingdom of God. Our founder and CEO, Mark David Kennerly trained as an actor at the famed American Academy of Dramatic Arts and continued training at Theatre in Action, also in NYC. He worked in film, tv, theater, and commercials from 1982 to 1994. After falling prey to drug addiction, alcoholism and reckless living, Mark David met and surrendered all to Jesus Christ in 1994.
Mark David stepped away from the entertainment industry in 1994 and from all forms of entertainment in 1996. He married his bride and best friend, Kimberly in 1995 and answered the call of Jesus to the office of pastor and this dynamic duo founded Impact Christian Church in 2004. In 2012 the Lord released Mark David to dream creative dreams again. Together, the duo executive produced their first short film, Conquering Fear in 2018 and their first feature film, …if My People… in 2020. Kim became a talent agent at with BH Talent & Literary Agency in 2021. The pastoral assignment for the Kennerly’s has been completed, and they now serve as overseers of Impact Christian Church, having turned over the reins to an anointed leadership team that they, with the Lord’s help, trained and ordained. The Kennerly’s relocated to Georgia to pursue their call and dreams minister, inspire and entertain.
We firmly believe that filmmakers, writers, directors, producers, actors, and crew are storytellers. Jesus Christ was also a storyteller, one of the ways Jesus taught was through the use of parables. A parable is a story, a fictious narrative used to illustrate a spiritual or moral principal. Jesus taught between thirty and fifty parables..
At 1922 Productions, we create parables, stories that illustrate and bring out Biblical and Kingdom of God truths in ways that entertain, excite, ignite, and inform.
Faith-based movies are generally made on lower or tighter budgets and tend to do well at the box office. This fact has caused them to solidify a place in cinema having produced movies over the years that have far exceeded expectations.
